If anyone is interested in joining the Navarino Knight Riders snowmobile club they should contact Kevin Vosters at [email protected]. There are some major changes to the snowmobile laws and requirements coming up and joining a club is the best way to stay aware of these changes. Club dues are $15.00 per person or $25.00 per family.
Reminder: Do not plow snow from your driveway across the road! The shoulders need to be clear for our road plows to maneuver safely while clearing our roads! Thank you for your cooperation!
The Landstad Ladies are looking for new members to join our club. If you are interested in volunteering with an organization directly involved with helping our community, we are the club for you! Please join us at a meeting, the second Friday of every month at 11:30 in the Town Hall and see what we are all about. If you have any questions, please contact any member or Janet Lane.
FYI! In the aftermath of the tornadoes that ripped through our town this year it became apparent that people may not be aware that they should be calling 911 for help when a structure is down or damaged in addition to calling for personal injury. If you need help at your residents for an emergency please always contact 911, this enables our Fire Department and First Responders to identify where they need to be in a disaster.
The other thing that became apparent in the aftermath is what a wonderful community we live in. We have heard and witnessed many stories of neighbors helping neighbors and strangers helping strangers during the day of the storms and the days to follow. We are all proud to live in such a great place with incredible people.
Taxes will be collected at the town hall by our Town Treasurer, Lisa Clauss, on:
Saturday, December 30th – 9 am until Noon
Sunday, December 31st – 9 am until Noon
Saturday, January 27th – 9 am until Noon
Sunday, January 28th – 4 pm until 7 pm
If you have questions please contact Lisa at 715-853-2183
